AmazonアプリストアからWindows 11にAndroidアプリをインストールする機能をサポートしていた、Microsoftの「Windows Subsystem for Android (WSA)」が2025年3月5日をもって廃止されることがわかりました。これに伴い、Windows 11向けのAmazonアプリストアもサービスが終了します。

Windows 11の次期大型アップデートである「22H2」の目玉となるAndroid Apps on Windows 11のプレビュー版が国内で提供開始された。Amazonアプリストアを利用することで、AndroidアプリをWindows上で稼働させることができるが、現状はアプリの数が圧倒的に少ない。
