The world-famous HMS Victory is undergoing a massive restoration and conservation programme. Nelson’s flagship at the Battle of Trafalgar is being stripped right back and having all rotten wood removed. The HMS Victory Shipwrights have been doing an incredible job producing and repairing futtocks over the last few months. Futtocks are the curved timbers that make up a rib of a wooden ship.
